If you sign up
When you enter your email in the sign-up form, I store your email address so I can send you updates about my work. Nothing else is asked for.
- The form is handled by Netlify Forms, so your address is stored by Netlify, Inc. in the United States.
- I only use it to email you updates. I don’t sell or share it.
- The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Location
The greeting at the top of the main page changes with your country. Netlify works out the country from your IP address when the page is sent, and the greeting is picked from that. I don’t store your IP address or your country. If that isn’t available, your device’s time zone or language setting is used instead, and neither leaves your device.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Netlify. Like any web host, Netlify processes your IP address and basic request details to deliver the page and keep the service secure. See Netlify’s privacy policy.
How long data is kept
Your email address is kept until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete it. Analytics and advertising data is kept according to Meta’s and Google’s retention settings.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to see, correct, export or delete the data I hold about you, and object to or withdraw consent for its use. Email me at the address above. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will be updated.
